Do your caregivers have credentials?

Northern Stars Home Care hires Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs) and nursing students. We also have a registered nurse on staff who helps train the caregivers and delegate tasks.

Are you licensed by the state of Minnesota?

Northern Stars Home Care has a Comprehensive Home Care license through the Minnesota Department of Health.

Are you bonded and Insured?

Northern Stars Home Care is bonded and insured.

Do you run background checks on caregivers?

All employees are finger printed and go through background study checks through the state of Minnesota.

Are you a medical home care company?

Northern Stars Home Care is a non-medical in home care company.

Can you provide up to 24-hours of care?

Northern Stars Home Care can provide anywhere from 1-hour of care up to 24-hours of care.

How many times per week are you required to have care?

Northern Stars Home Care would recommend having service at least twice a week. We recommend this so we can establish a consistent care team and a healthy relationship with you or your loved one

If we have an emergency situation who do we call?

If it is a medical emergency please call 911. Once help is on the way, you can call Chris, the owner of Northern Stars Home Care. Chris answers her phone 24/7 and her caregivers and clients can back that up.
